The Hon’ble President of India has approved the addition of The Copyright Act and The Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout Design Act to come under Ministry of Industry and Commerce vide a notification dated May 30,2016 . The present Controller general of Patents, Designs and Trademark will head the copyright office also.
